Hi Juno, Welcome to Cruise-Chat!

Did you cruise on the Carnivale?

If this was Carnival's Carnivale. I was on her Feb. of 1983, my first cruise. She was a lovely ship and caused my cruise addiction. Hate to see her scrapped.

Hi there,

I actually worked on the Carnivale from March 1985 until 1987 it was a beautiful ship will never forget her. We sailed out of Miami to Nassau and Freeport we did 3 and 4 day cruises.
Really sad to hear she might be scrapped.

Yes, this is sad. What a beautiful ship! I only can imagine the stories you could tell from your experience on her.

Well, it seems like part of her is already missing. What a pity. I do hope no one was injured. It didn't say much.

Thanks, LHP. This is terrible news. How can a tanker collide with an anchored ship?

That's a good question. I guess it depends on what the tanker is carrying...perhaps tequilla??
