How about Julia Roberts? Reason- She can be very elegant but yet very down to earth as well as formal and fun loving...And now, she's family orientated too!

Jim C I think your choice is more accurate than the magazines's, however, the more I ponder it the answer maybe Tom Hanks. Hanks is versitle with both outstanding dramatic and comedic performances.
My thoughts are based on the fact that I have never had a "bad cruise". Because I believe like any other experience in life it is what you make it to be.

Very good.. I didn't think of Tom Hanks, but he would be a good choice too... Kind of childish and goofy early in his career and now taking on more serious roles.. But he can still be funny... That works.

We sailed the Carnival Triumph out of Charleston last October. With the diverse crowd of people we saw I would defintely have to say Jeff Foxworthy, there were defintely many many southern rednecks on the ship...lol...and since I am from SC I can say that in jest...but so true.. We even saw one guy the first morning at the breakfast buffet, he had cut off blue jean shorts, a black racing t-shirt and a baseball cap I believe Harley...doesnt sound to bad huh? well the kicker was he also had on biker boots..it was a sight to behold..I did spend the majority of my cruise just people watching.. It was an experience!
I think the original question was who embodied the cruise experience from their Movie Characters. I still agree with the voters of Conde. Adam Sandler's characters always make the most of every situation. He takes lemons and makes lemonade. He looks for the good in everything, and ends up having a good time.
