Carnival Conquest

We are taking a cruise for the first time! I'm sure these questions have all been answered-so be patient with me
Our kids are 4 and 7. It looks like they would be split up in the kids clubs because of their ages. Can they stay together? Also-is there a charge for them during the day or is the charge just for evening babysitting?

They can stay together, but the 7 year old would be have to be "downgraded" (not a good word, but the best I could come up with) to the 4 year old group. There are plenty of activities for both, tailored to the age groups. The babysitting charge is just after-hours, but there is a late-night party that costs extra. My daughter always does this, they get escorted by a counselor back to your cabin around 3 AM or so.

Thank you for responding! I re-thought this and actually it might be a good thing that they will be separated. They get a long pretty well but get tired of each other. At least they will get a break from each other and behave when they are with us !!!
I booked our cruise not knowing the answer-so this is an added bonus!!

Conquest is probably Allisons (now 12 yrs old) favorite ship (really cool waterslide). How tall is your 4 yr old? There is a height restriction on the slide, your little one might be bummed (for a short while) if not tall enough. Plenty more to do though...

My 4 year old is 48 pounds and 43.5" tall and fearless. He is in advanced swimming so I HOPE he reaches the limit!! Do you know what the limit is? This is a dumb question but do you know if lemondade is part of the soda thing or is it available for free? My kids don't like soda-it's too "spicy"

Lemonade is a "Free" drink found in the Buffet and Lido Deck.

good luck on the slide. We were in a similar situation - except our son was six, a great swimmer, but short for his age. Of course we had his birth certificate, went up the chain of command but no way were they going to give in. It could have ruined our cruise, if it weren't for the great service, wonderful food, and super entertainment!

when are you cruising? We'll be on the Conquest Feb 18 - and my son is now 14.

Hmm-I'm curious what the height limit is. We are going on 4/15. It has been a lot of planning. We have had to find flights, a room for the night before and transportation. Carnival was $320 for our family for the transfer but I found a limousine company that charges $210 round trip. The one thing I am not happy about is that it appears that Carnival charges $40/day for a family of 4 for tipping. When I asked my travel agent if there were ANY other charges she said NO and gave me the price and tax for the cruise. I suppose there is not way our gratuities are included in that price??

For some reason the number 46 comes to mind...as in 46 inches being the minimum height.
