What a way to start a cruise!! I'd probably be a nervous wreck the whole time if I were on the Sensation, or any other cruiseship after a bomb threat. Hope they catch the person!!

Terri,
It went mad years ago.
there are always those who want to spoil it for others either to get a cheap thrill or because they hate to see others enjoying themselves (or should that be their selves)

I wouldn't be scared or nervous. I'd be angry and wishing I had my hands on the little weasel so I could slap him around a little (or a lot). Those who call in bomb scares are bluffing 99.99% of the time, and usually have some petty grudge or get a sick thrill out of it. A terrorist wouldn't call, they'd just let it happen. And these are the ones to be wary of.

Maybe he or she was from California...we are full of wacko's that start fires and distroy homes and kill, and why??? Jealous of what others have, or the power over people.

Dave, you are absolutely right--it's not the ones that warn you ahead that you have to worry about; they know they are powerless but try to scare us anyway. The quiet ones know what they are capable of and have no need to forewarn us.

Now baby doll, why single out Kaleforneya? Just because we are the fruits & nuts capitol of the country . . .

And Peter, I do believe it's "enjoying themselves"; themselves has to agree with "others". But then we sure don't want to get to picky about spelling and grammar, do we now!

Did anyone see the National Geographic programme on modern day pirates. That was a bit scary. It showed a cruise liner being attacked off the coast of Somalia by pirates firing anti tank missiles. Some of them hit the ship but hardly did any damage, some AK47 rounds went through some of the windows but they had moved most of the passengers to a safe area. The captain defeated the pirates by aiming what I would call an ultrasonic sound beam at them causing them to retreat.
What I never knew until this programme is that ships under maritime law cannot carry arms on board. No wonder merchant ships have no way of repelling the pirates.

No f-mattox,
We sure don't want to get nit picking or any other kind of picking unless it's picnicking. As the schoolboy answered when asked by the English teacher where was his grammar, replied at home with granpa.(sorry bad joke I dragged that one out of the archives).
Cheers
Peter
