Galveston Cruise Port

Has anyone heard if the port is still intact and when cruises will start up again? I am supposed to be leaving out on the Ecstasy in October. I cannot find anyone that knows. Thanks for any info.

It is pretty much a mess there it will probably be days before they know themselves.
I would check with the cruiselines as the date approaches
My brother is in Houston and said Galveston was hit pretty bad & Kemah which is closer to the cruise port.
I saw pics on T.V of Kemah & the boats in the marina there were tossed about.
They are still in search mode & clean up is starting
