INVOLUNTARY DEBARKATION!!!!

I had a kindly grandmother book a cruise for herself and grandson. While she was out checking out the ship on the day of embarkation he snuck off to the cabin and fired up a doobie he smuggled aboard. The passengers strolloing down the hallway smelled it and reported him. He was kicked off before the ship ever left port. Grandma left with him (she shouldn't have in my opinion) voluntarily. She called me recently and asked me if the cruiselines have a blacklist for things or if she could try again. I suggested she go with another line, just in case. She's sweet, but why would she take this punk on another cruise? She did and all went well this time. There is no love like a mother's or grandmother's love.

Wow Neil! As I read that I thought you were saying she wanted to go on a cruise (by herself) and was worried about a blacklist. I can believe she was taking him again! If it were me, I would have pinned a $20 bill to his shirt on the way off the ship and wished him the best of luck as we sailed away. I might have been nice and called his parents to arrange him getting home... unbelievable...

He should be thankful he didn't get a knot slapped on his head. Guess today's society doesn't allow that, in cases like this that's a shame.

Neil are you sure she didn't have a few tokes as well? I guess a grandmother's love takes over, but I think I would have done as Jim C., and pinned a twenty on his shirt.

Next time she should atleast get a Balcony cabin and wait till the ship is under way.

Or since she is the Grandma all grandmas Make Great "Brownies" That would have been My choice. If I Dabbled in Illeagle (sp)activities

LOL... If it had been my grandma, she would have booked the balcony. Discovered my stash. Thrown me overboard. Sold it to the half-baked guy on the lido deck. Ran to the casino and hit the slots. Reported me missing at the next port. Purchased and smoked a fine Cuban cigar and saved the ashes. Returned home with the ashes. Presented them to my wife and reported that I had been shot by Sandinistas and she had me cremated.
