Sensation - Sensational

My wife and I just returned from a cruise on the Sensation to celebrate our 27th Wedding anniversary. We had originally booked on Fantasy and were worried about the switch because of some of the things we had heard about Sensation's troubles coming back on line after FEMA service for Hurricane Katrina. But our worries were completely unfounded. The crew and accomodations were terrific. We had a wonderful time. Hats off to Carnival for getting the bugs worked out. We still saw them doing some painting and fixing as we were in port. Overall we were very pleased and will sail with Carnival again.

Hi, I think I was just on the same cruise as you were. Did you leave on April 23rd? If so, I'm trying to look for someone that I met on the cruise.If you have any general pictures that show many people like near the pool I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you for the information Richard. I am booked for the 3 day cruise in September. My husband is hesitant about the cruise and I talked him into it so I hope things go well. We'll also have our 2 and 5 year old boys with us. Did you have any children in the kid's program? Thanks again.

The "fixing and painting in the port" is a standard maintainence thing. The crew is constantly doing preventive maintainence work on the ships. When there are in port is about the only time they have to do some of the work.

Glad to hear the Sensation is back to its "normal" self, post FEMA service.

We didn't take too many pictures on the ship. Lots of them in port though.

We didn't have kids with us for our anniversary cruise, but we did see kids in the programs apparently have a great time. Some of the guests we talked to were very pleased with Camp Carnival.
