I am not sure of the ages of everyone in your family, but we found people of all ages having fun on our cruise. It was really nice. Carnival has a "camp carnival" for younger kids and programs for teenagers, too. Regarding activities, every night you will get a paper called "carnival capers" that lists the activities for the following day. There are so many from activities in the gym/spa, to poolside, game room...There is something for everyone I think! We really enjoyed the poolside activities. There is also ping pong, miniature golf and a basketball net by the pool. Also, I don't know if you are leaving from New Orleans but there is a great zoo and aquarium there. Good luck!
