western med cruise on Freedom 7/21

Is anyone set to cruise on 7/21 on the Freedom? We have a 12 yr old and have never been to Europe? We have been on many cruises, all ready. We only have one private tour planned so far, in Naples. Does anyone have any suggestions? We do not want to take Carnival tours. Any suggestions on places to eat that are budget friendly. Anyone interested in joining together for private tours in Messina or Livorno?
