I am considering doing a stand-by listing to go on a cruise aboard the Holiday. Carnival told me to be at the port by noon on the day of departure and put my name on the list. If there is a cancellation there may be a chance I could get the room. They could not tell me a price. I would like to chat with someone who has traveled this way before.
