Ship Tipping Over??

Can someone tell me about the ship which tipped over, I missed that here on the board. Was it the Destiny and is that why it was dry docked for a period of time. Thank you

I'm sorry, but I have no idea what you are talking about.

The ship was the Legend. There was a computer glich that caused the problem. I bet there are a lot of people out there who actually experienced the event that can give you a lot more details than I can.

Thanks for that information about ship tipping. I went though that same thing on the Destiny back in I believe it was 2003, ship tipped to one side at about 1:30am. I looked out my window and all I could see was water. People panicked and filled the hallways wearing life vest. I had just gotten up from bed and was about to go to the casino, then said I will lay down for 30 minutes more and then go. As soon as I laided down it happened. Of course everything on the ship went flying, Took us a while to get so information and the person who was speaking sounded really afraid. After looking out my window I went to the hallway and I saw a Carnival employee picking up painting for the art gallery ( which was located next to my cabin), my first thought was we're sinking and you're picking up paintings. He told me that his having cruised for years he knew that when the ship turned like that it meant that they got a report of a man overboard, and the ship had to turn really sharp opposite the side the person was on to create a large wave to push the person away from the ship so the propellers would not suck them in. A few people from my understanding were hurt and the man overboard turned out to be a false alarm (If that was the real reason for that). I will be on the Destiny again 9/17/06 and I hope the only tipping is of the monetary type. Happy cruising all!!!!!

we were on the desteny feb 14th 2003 when the stablizer malfuctioned the ship tiped water out of the pools people fell bottles in the bars broke (sob sob) there was soon a notice over the pa soon it was a good joke no biggie 4 time cruiser
