How about a new chat section in the forum called "cruise-dating"?
I typically cruise with a group of single friends and we always book our sailings based on the likelihood that there will be other singles on board.
On my last cruise over Valentines Day, I was at a table of 8 and out of coincendence everyone was single. Ages ranged from 26 to 54 and we were all there for the same reason- To meet singles and have a good time! What was interesting was that everyone at the table was traveling with a friend and was looking to meet singles- we just got really lucky!
It would be convenient to meet people in a "cruise-dating" forum before booking your cruise. For instance, If I had a group of 4 friends we could post the dates of our sailing and a little bit about our group. Other groups could do the same. This would be differnt than other "dating" sites because it would be for groups of singles traveling together.
You could apply this concept to everyone by calling the forum "cruise-groups". It would allow people with specific interests to meet others with the same interests. For instance, families with kids around the same age or retired folks looking.
Does anyone else think that this type of forum would be useful?
