Any Crew/staff members know how family can cruise free

I just married the most beautiful woamn in the world, who is a staff memebre on the Carnival conquest. Her contract ends late next month...
I'm just wondering how family members get to cruise(I've heard about this, and think it would be a fun thing, since she gets off in port, 4 days of the 7 day cruise.)
