We're on the same cruise! Jan 11/04. Originally, we were booked on the Norway.
Don't know too much about this ship, although we sailed on the Senbsation last January. Any info you can give us would be great.
We're booked in a category 8 guaranteed cabin.

Thanks
Toni

we were on the victory to canada, last month the ship is really nice we were in a guaranteed 8 D cabin it was a balcony, really nice, there were 3 adults and 1 child. It was a little small for 4 of us but, we only slept there so it was ok for the week the waterslide is super for the kids and they have a great camp carnival for the kids, they have programs whereas the kids can have a sleepover till 3 am for 26.00 and they escort the kids back to the cabin if you want to stay out late, they did it for 2 nites there was a small extra charge for extra kids in the same family, it was neat. there was lots going on for the kids also on shore trips you could leave the kids behind but had to be back by certain time some kids wanted to stay on ship in the pool and had no interest in shore excursion which was also cool, so you do not have to listen to them whine and cry about going somewhere they really did not want to go. WE were in the pacific dining room late sitting decided to do an early sitting this time around always late for the shows and did not get great seats so this time we go early so we will have time to go to shows and early functions, There is a covered pool on the back of ship where the bbq and pizza place is so it was nice. If the weather was a little nippy again we went to Canada, so that is a big difference in e. caribbean we are opting for a 9A cat. this time so we have an xtra large balcony and it was not to much more then 8 cat only thing is they only let 3 pass. per room in that catagory, we have another couple, my daughter and her husband going they got an inside room, so we figured they will be in our cabin most of the trip, except for sleeping. my suggestion is tho when you get on board check your seating for dinner in case you want to make changes, there were a lot of musical seating the first 2 nights, we will be in room 6434 if you would like to meet us, it kind of cool to meet people and hang out are you going with your family ? we are all adults this trip, look forward to hearing from you Fran

Hi Fran

It's just me and my husband going. We are celebrating my 50th (yuck!!!) birthday. My daughter is in university so she can't come and my son can't get off work. We originally booked on the Norway mainly because we were able to get a balcony suite for a good price. We are in a guaranteed Cat 8 so not sure what cabin we have right now.
We are familiar with Carnival as we sailed on the Sensatin last January. My mother was with us then.
We are from Canada...just east of Toronto. Where are you from?

It would be great if we could get together.

Toni

Hi Fran

Thanks for the drink invite! We of course don't have our cabin number yet. Maybe we'll be lucky and get a nice upgrade. I can't wait!

Take care over the weekend with Isabel on her way. She's supposed to hit us sometime on Friday.
