It is ironic that people who want to use the workout facilities also want nearby cabins so the walk isn't too far. You'd think they book cabins on the Riveria deck stern so they could jog up to the Spa deck!
That is funny Dave.

If they are going to frequent the awesome aft lido pool, they will be getting some additional exercise as well.

I am not a drinker at all. I have no problem with people drinking, I just chose not to do it. I respect their rights to drink.
When I hear the "drinking" analogy, I try to convey it in the proper context.

When someone drinks, the only person they are affecting is themselves. A drinker will not cause someone with Asthma to have an attack. A drinker will not cause you to have a migrane for 2 days (or bron. ulcers for 2 months).

When someone smokes, they are affecting total strangers against their wills. And unfortunately, labeling a room a "designated smoking area" will not keep the smoke in it.

A drinker is not allowed (in our society) to touch or affect a fellow human being in any way. You can't drink and drive because you may harm someone. If a drinker spills drink on someone, our society (rightfully so) treats it as a negative behavior. It is not allowed.
Stumbling into an person is not tolerated.

However, smoke "surrounds" (spills on to )another person like a drink would, if a drinker spilled it on you.

So when someone says they respect a person's right to drink.... I have to ask..would you still respect their "right to drink" if their drinking "surrounded you"? ...ie spilling his drink on you, falling all over you, or worse "hurling on you."

In essence, this is what a smoker does to innocent bystanders. They "spill their drinks" all over other people. But instead of just being a mess, it can be deadly. Not only to those with asthma.

Just like folks would never tolerate a drinker spilling his drink on them.....smokers expect us to tolerate having their "drinks" spilled on us. And if we don't want the "smoky drink" spilled all over us....our only option is not to enjoy the entire cruise that we paid for. No balconies, casino, piano bar, disco...etc.

So actions that a drinker would never get away with, smokers call their "rights". And I dare say if a drinker spilled their drink all over you and then said "it was their right"...
you would look at them like they have lost their minds.
Excellent points, Cruise Guru!

Well I am only happy they let me smoke on my balcony cabin i can only hpope they don't change this rule.
either way I need a space to smoke to you know, but as for the rst of the ship I really don't smoke on other places so for me they can do what they think is good for the other passengers health is not really an issue for me.
