what tipe of perks do you get when you book a cat 11 suite??? i know the room is bigger but are there perks ty jim

We cruised on the Carnival Legend in April of 2004, in a Cat 11 stateroom. We saw your post; and the two of us are sitting here remembering that cruise and "Strange Stateroom 4228".

We cannot recall anything at all that one would consider a perk or nicety or special service.....Sadly!

The only perks you get with cat 11 and 12 is express check in and to be quite honest it was not a big deal as the many times we have been in those cat the lines were always short anyway, the only time I can say it was the best was on ncl we had a seperate area for all the suite holders, coffee, juice, lounge area donuts, cookies and express through the xray machine while everyone else was in a cattle line we also has conciere service and champagne waiting in our room and fresh fruit every nite waiting in our room and were escorted to our cabin

Can you clarify for me please? The concierge service, champagne, fresh fruit, and escort to the stateroom was on Norwegian Cruise Lines? We did not experience any of that on Carnival last year.

yes it was on norwegian it was on the sun, I had vowed never to travel on ncl again as the first time I went it was awful but I went with 3 girls from work and we got a great price on the penthouse suite which is about the same size a cat 8 on carnival bathroom was larger full size whirlpool bath,on the next to the top deck deck eleven less then 800.00 apice I think it was 767.00 ea it was fun but I still prefer carnival and thier cabins it was anice experienc we were only steps from resturant, heath club and the pool, which was really nice, well, we got to seek a peeck at one of the next cat. up on ncl it was a one bedroom suite some day I will win the lottery and travel in one of them lolol
