I am looking a booking a western Caribbean cruise on the Carnival Triumph. Will go with a balcony stateroom or suite. For those who have taken this cruise, what is your opinion on being located on the port or starboard side of the ship? Thanks!

I haven't taken your particular cruise, but the way I make that decision is to look at a map and see which side gives me the most sunrises early in the cruise and the most sunsets later in the cruise. My wife thinks I'm nuts but I find seeing sunrises at sea makes me want to get up and be active and long sunsets relax me before getting back to the daily grind.
Have a great cruise, be it port or starboard!

ndbudman,

Welcome to Cruise-Chat!

f-mattox makes a good point, the best way is to look at a map if sunsets or rises are a consideration. As far as the ports, if you have a long day there some folks like a view of the port, but is tricky trying to guess that one. Other than that, there is no difference.

Welcome Aboard,
IslandCruz
