Has anyone used this feature. I just printed out my docs. Are they any different from the ones you receive in the mail? the only thing I can say is that I didn't do the doc dance. It was not as exciting and getting them in the mail.

Hi teachabcdee, I have never printed my docs. I would think they would be the same. I am of the old school and like to wait on the official package and keep the tradition of the dance.

Carnival is soon to be one of a few lines left with sending the mail Docs. The package and folder makes a great souvineer and reference for me. I save all of mine, except I lost one in a move once and bugs me

If you print them will that cancell the mailing?

Maybe Carol or Neil knows..

The only thing I don't like about the printable documents is that you have to use their printable luggage tags as opposed to the firmer stick-together ones. I'm always worried they will rip off with the way those guys heave those bags like olympic discuss throwers! Just worries me.

I didn't like the tags either. They have a bar code and was planning on laminating them but I didn't know if the lamination would cause a problem when they would try to scan them.

I was thinking the same thing Islandcruz. I really would prefer the mailed documents. I accidentally ended up requesting the electronic docs. I just wanted to see what they look like and before I knew it, they were generated. Now I am hoping that I get the mailed docs but I don't know if that will happen. I am bummed that I missed the doc dance though.

teachabcdee, don't get bummed out. Maybe you can still call whoever you booked with, or if through them and request them. I did call and they said it was an option to do one or the other. Not encouraging a fib, but computers do crash all the time before things are printed

If you used a PVP they prolly can get them for you. No frets.

Thanks IslandCruz. I actually called them and they said that my TA would probably like the fact that I printed my own out. Saves them time. I am going to call tomorrow and ask for actual docs. It's my first cruise and I want to have the real thing!

teachabcdee, This is actually good news. Since you booked with a TA, they should have no problem re-entering the type and destination of the Docs! You even have a back up now with yours! No last minute worries

If you get any flack from the TA, please say.
