Doesn't hurt to call them and find out. NCL gave us a discount because the wife is teacher (union). I also know that RCL and Princess are CCL companies, so they may have the same policies.
I have found that it never hurts to ask for discounts, the worst they can say is "no". You'll be amazed at how often you can get discounts and or freebies if you ask. Not just on cruises either.

Royal Caribbean is not in the same corporation as Princess and Carnival. As Jim C. says "just ask". Military discount, senior discount, AArp discount. Also sometimes they have special resident discounts.
Hi! Go to vacations to go.com and they have a list on the left side of the page that you can click onto for military discounts. So far, I've found that Carnival offers the best discounts but NCL also has them. Celebrity has a few, also RCL. Princess doesn't offer military discounts.

Ok, I may have misspoke.. RCCL and Princess are not Carnival Cruise Line companies, but they are all own by the same Parnet corporation- Carnival PLC. So while they are not Carnival Cruise lines companys, they are effectively working for the same people....
But, it is great that each line is able to offer a slightly different product. To each his own you know...

RCCL is not owned by Carnival Corporation. Here are the cruise brands owned by Carnival.

I've been off from work for a couple weeks and with the heat outside, I've had little to do other than sit here and monitor the forum - almost minute by minute! But I make my triumphant return to ye olde nuclear plant at 6pm tonight, and will work the 6pm to 6am shift through Tuesday. I'll therefore be out of the loop most of the time and not hiding in the forum's bushes waiting to pounce!
