We'll be on Conquest on 12-9-07 for a wedding in port at Galveston plus 23 going on cruise.

Can any one who has done this, tell us where you were able to put your carry on luggage since the rooms won't be ready during the wedding, except for the bride and grooms cabin.

The wedding will be "The Gallery" and reception in "Gegas Lounge". And we didn't want to have to carry around with us during the events.

Why wouldn't your room be ready?

Due to the wedding being done on the ship before sailing we will go on the ship around 10:30. They told us that the rooms might not be ready since the ship also docked that morning they may not have ready. The only ones that are guaranteed ready is the bride and groom. That way they can dress on board otherwise all the wedding group has to be dressed when we go on board.

Since they are accomidating you on getting onboard early, I'm sure they will be able to provide a place for you to keep your luggage safe during the wedding. I wouldn't worry about it. BUt when you get to the ship, mention it to whomever is guiding you onto the ship and they can probably find a place for it.

Hi retired,

This is such a good question. I am sure they will have a place for it. They will take you on board first, even ahead of the VIPs. So do make sure you are there early to get checked-in.

The number for the wedding dept. is 1-800-933-4968. Hopefully they can help you.

Best wishes for this awaited wedding and cruise,
