Help! What city does the Carnival ship dock in at the St. Thomas Port?

Most cruise ships will dock at the Havensight Pier about a 5-10 minute taxi ride outside of downtown Charlotte Amalie.

It is at least 25 minutes, but maybe more depending on stops the taxi makes. The taxi system there is a bit strange, they are vans mostly and they try to fill them up before they leave and they charge a per person fare. It is all regulated though and they have to charge the same between the companies. I think was either 8.50 or 10.50 I will offer some advice, get out EARLY! Last year I missed the ferry by just a few minutes. It leaves on the hour. I am assuming you are going to St. John.

Yes we want to go to St. John. Have you ever been? What did you do while you were there?

I have been 3 times. I go to Trunk Bay to snorkel. Is inside the USVI National Park. It is another taxi ride there from ferry, and a $4 charge to get in. It is real nice with showers and they have lifeguards and an underwater snorkel trail. I will try to put a link here.
