Carnival Spirit

Anyone that that has cruised the Carnival Spirit - is it a good ship.

We have been on the Spirit twice, both times to Mexico. We love her! The Spirit class ship is great IMHO.

Can't help Yankeeso but we will be on the Spirit for the first time on February 2nd to Mexico. I'll follow this post as I'm curious too.

When you are entering Acapulco, look fr the sea turtles. When we went there last February they were floating all around the entrance to Acapulco.
Took us a while to figure out what they were.

Marylb, let me know how the Spirit is. Of course, I'm not going to cancel regardless but the only other Carnival Ship I've been on is the Conquest. So I am curious. Thanks

I loved the Spirit. It was easy to get around as you can walk the length of the ship on any deck. The Conquest and Destiny class have some decks that you have to go up or down to get around the dinning rooms and it can be confusing. I also liked the show called "Spirit". I hope they still do it. It played on themes on the Spirit of the Wind, and Spirit of the Native American, and Spirit of the underworld, and spirit of all sorts of things. I thought it was really good.

We was on the Spirit last October and they still had the Spirit Show.It was a very good show. We love all the dancer and production team. They do a great job.

I did the Vancouver to Hawaii on Sept 19 2007. The ship is in great shape,better then most I would say. Our bed left something to be desired however but that would be it. I am looking on doing a mexican in march on the spirit again.

I will indeed do that. I will write a review when we get back and let you know. We leave in 12 days if I am to believe the Carnival website. I can't wait!
