I am in the same boat....only we have only sailed Carnival.

But from what I have been told...the two are more alike than different.

You can have a set dinner time OR Your Time Dining (like NCL Freestyle)...

Hope you have a WONDERFUL cruise!!

Until recently, I had only sailed on Royal Caribbean and always wondered what the other cruise lines are like. I was on the Carnival Fascination out of Jacksonville last month and must tell you that I was pleasantly surprised.

Yes, there were differences, but they were very minor things. The food was great on Carnival and the service was fantastic.

I was concerned that there would be a lot of unruly children on board, but it actually seemed like there were very few children at all. I guess the fact that we went during school time played a role in that.

Anyway, I hope you have the same wonderful experience that I had, and I'm sure you will. Make sure and report back and let us know.

Take care,

Brad

Yes, now that our boys are grown...we only cruise when school is in session.

I love Carnival...but you do have to use some perimeters to insure the best cruise.
