Until recently, I had only sailed on Royal Caribbean and always wondered what the other cruise lines are like. I was on the Carnival Fascination out of Jacksonville last month and must tell you that I was pleasantly surprised.
Yes, there were differences, but they were very minor things. The food was great on Carnival and the service was fantastic.
I was concerned that there would be a lot of unruly children on board, but it actually seemed like there were very few children at all. I guess the fact that we went during school time played a role in that.
