17..thats exactly what I meant..there all all kinds on every ship but the overall atmosphere of people and ship combined does seem to amazingly relate to the comparison. I've been on all three lines, as also shopped at those different comparisons used. Just depends on what we're looking for when we go!

Tncruiseman, perhaps I overlooked your report,if you made one. I see where you went on the Triumph on November 6th. How was the trip?

Yes, PapaJim, I must agree. We were on our first Carnival ship in the spring, the Triumph, and found it wonderful.

I will either be going on RCCL's Adventure or Serenade of the Seas ships this spring. I'm still trying to get feedback on which one to take.

Hi brneyes! We were on Triumph 11/18-25 and had a great time, although i really don't like being family coordinator for 14 of us ages 17-85. It was like being in Walmart the day after Thanksgiving, which can be fun in the right perspective. No surprises with the ship and everything was great as expected with the seas being the smoothest I have ever experienced! The shows were among the best I've seen at sea and the casino was even somewhat generous, although it managed to get it all back and then some! After being back only 3 weeks, I need another cruise fix QUICK and this time without 14 people along!

Hello, I would love to respond back right now, but this is a busy time of the year for me. I will respond back later, but I want to wish everyone that is involved with Cruise Critic writing, a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.

tncruiseman - Happy New Year to you and everyone here on Cruise Critic.

Not that it is anything important, but unbeknownst to us, Richard Simmons was on our cruise ship. I didn't think any more about it, until we got on a tender to go to one of the islands, and there he was, getting on the same tender as us. So "trying" to be brave, I went back and ask him if I could take a picture of him. He says, Yes, as long as you sit on my lap, and let the lady take our picture. So that was part of my Triumph cruise also.
