carl, That is some pretty good quick math. I came up with the same approx. $266

Sue - Is nothing that I recommend, but I am guilty of it. If I can smuggle an 18pk of beer on board you should have no problem with a bottle of rum

matlily- Wine and Champagne are different than "booze". You can bring a bottle or two of wine on board. They will charge you a $15 corkage fee if you bring it to the dining room with you (and sometimes the waiters are nice enough to overlook that even). But you can also consume it in your room.

The ban is mostly aimed at hard liquor.
