Only 1 more week of anticipation left. Sailing next Sunday. We would like any advice you can offer on making the most of this trip. Have been on one other with Carnival and it was a lot of fun. Any advice on a nice restful beach in Cozi? Have read that a lot were not happy with Paradise. Not looking to spend a lot...just a nice place to enjoy the sand and water and overall atmosphere> Thanks for any help you can give. Would love to hear from anyone that's going with us on the 28th! Sue

Hi Sue! Bet you're excited about your upcoming trip! We're thinking of going on the Conquest in December but we're still not sure so let us know how it was overall and everything! Have a great trip!

We went to Paradise Beach a few weeks ago and had a blast, not very crowded at all. We relaxed, drank a few smoothies and had a great meal. No problems like I had read. Read my review Ecstacy 5-1-06 to 5-6-06 written earlier this month. I will go back to Paradise. Just watch your tab.

We just got back from this cruise. Everyone that was on our ship that went to Paradise beach had a blast! They highly recommended it!

If you're going to eat in Cozumel, I would HIGHLY recommend trying out Pancho's Backyard. It is a GREAT little restaurant down the street from the pier. The food is fabulous!

I second Kaychell's recommendation... they have the best guacomole ... they are inside Los Cinco Soles store back out of the shopping area. It was cool, service was excellent and the food was great .. We took one of the catamarin tours to a beach and it was fun also.

And Cruisemama ... you would love the Conquest. Everywhere you look there is artwork. Service was great. We had a balcony cabin and I'm spoiled now!

Thank you all for your suggestions. We ate at Poncho's on our cruise 3 years ago. It was really good! Just didn't know about beaches, etc. Someone said to head to the east side...less crowded, more laid back.???Anyone know about this? Thanks for your help! Sue

I read East Side not as calm water...more of an undertow, and got to be careful there. Also, read where it is rockier and not as sandy. One other thing, I read where some of the beaches are R rated if not totally nude!

Whoa! Sounds like we'll be sticking to the west side, especially having teens with us! Is paradise not an all incusive? Sounds like it's where most go...can't imagine it not being crowded if that's the case. Thanks for all the info. It's really helpful when you know you have limited time in a place and don't want to make poor choices.

Paradise Beach is not an all inclusive, as they serve drinks and food either on the beach (with a personal waiter) or inside the restaurant. Go to www. paradise-beach-cozumel.net and read all about it, even the menu! It wasn't very busy the day we were there because there were only 2 ships in port. They can handle a very large crowd on busy days. American owned, good food, lots of water toys, etc. Check out the web page, or go to cozumel beaches for a total overview. (HINT: The locals suggested Paradise to me over Mr. Sanchos - I asked) Have a great time whatever you do!!
