Suite V22 on the Elation, 3/8/07, had a VCR. I didn't really check for the jacks, but I would assume that the TV or VCR would have some place to plug in a portable player.
I took my portable player and a few favorite DVD's on my last two cruises and never used it--too much else going on. Even the in-room movie selection was really good. Just F.Y.I.
I am glad for you but I am content in fly-over country for now.
As you know, airline travel is not even close to what it was in the past. We wore suits when we flew and we were just kids. I remember a flight from JFK to Rio on Pan Am where we were served NY Strip, baked potato etc. on real plates with real flatware, a full wedge of apple pie and a ceramic cup full of coffee.
