Im cruising out of New Orleans on Carnival Triumph and I have heard rumors that you can pay an extra $25/head for food if you want something special? Whats the details on this??
Thanks |
They are doing a test on some of the ships that don't have a Steakhouse. The Paradise, Triumph, and Inspiration. This is to offer some of the Steakhouse menu items in the Main Dining Room for the ships that don't have a Steakhouse. I thought the charge was $18.
Carnival is NOT charging anything extra for the regular Main Dining Room selections. |
If you are a steak lover I suggest trying the Porterhouse at least one night. Its incredible. We try to eat at the Steakhouse at least once during a cruise. I think allowing you to get the food served there on ships that don't have one is a fantastic idea. Not that the main dinning room food is not excellent, but the steakhouse steaks are another notch above it.

I agree about the Porterhouse steak! It was awesome on the Legend! I actually joked with the waiter in the MDR the next night when I placed my order that I'd have one of those. Of course he said they don't have them. Now maybe they will if the market test is successful.
