I didn't know that Jim could cruise in late September until he booked this one. LHP will most likely cruise anytime she can.

I made a note of this! I'd have two Casino buddies, and a Karaoke buddy! Not to mention I consider them all friends.

Me either! I was thinking it would be quicker to check in with a rep. Every time I self check out at a grocery store it takes longer. And who checks your ID to make sure you are who you are supposed to be? I don't see this speeding up the process one bit.

Normally I can't cruise in late September Dwayne. But I am flying my mom down to stay with the girls (they will be in school) and just Lisa and I are going. My sister and her husband wanted to cruise and this was the only time they could do it, so we picked that cruise (mainly for the insanely cheap price) It was a deal I couldn't refuse..

Oh.. and I will be happy to check out the Kiosks ... I'm not VIP this trip, will be on our next one. We are going from a Cat 11 suite on our last cruise to a cheapo interior this cruise... We are going to see how cheaply we can do a cruise

Of course I can't count my casino money in that as that would be unfair (unless of course I can do well enough to pay for the cruise

)

I checked the price, and you hit the nail on the head! It is insanely cheap!

Oh well, maybe your Mom will want to visit the girls next September too.

I can't cruise when school is out because it is my busy time. Dang, I wish I lived in Miami sometimes (not very often) to grab these deals.

Hey, you may be able to do well enough in the casino to pay for it. I've had good luck on two cruises and paid for mine. Don't ya love taking those crisp $100's down to the desk and settling your S&S!

I look forward to hearing how efficient these Kiosks are.

I'd think the VIP check-in would still be holding the cruise cards for those passengers so that is what you'd need to continue using.

I've not done VIP at Miami but I'd think 10:30 would be too early.

We did Miami in January 2008 (VIP) and left the hotel at 10:30am. By the time we arrived, gave the porters our luggage etc...it was about 10:50am.

This was a little early...but Miami has a VERY NICE VIP office with comfy couches where you wait....so we did not mind. I think on that day we actually walked on the ship about 11:35ish.

We figured you have to wait somewhere...at the hotel or at the port...and if you have VIP in Miami...waiting isn't that bad.
