Zydecocruiser - The webcam shots from the Carnival Dream are comin' thru fine, Thank You for the feed!! Things are lookin' sooo goood! The time is getting short before you'll be cruising on her!!

You'll be disembarking and I'll be boarding her in NYC just as you get off!!! I'm in a Cove Balcony too - Please be sure to pick up the room and make the beds!!! Leave the unused drink coupons in the safe!!!

I need to touch base with Chef Ken as I believe he's goin' out on the Nov. 13th cruise also!! Kepp us posted from the ship if you have time - it looks and sounds as if she's gonna' have a lot to do for us!!

Lost in the news about Charleston today...Carnival took delivery of the Carnival Dream today at Fincantieri’s Monfalcone shipyard.

Great! I know how I feel when I pick up a new car.. I can't imagine how it must feel to go down tot he shipyard and pick up your new cruise ship!

Judging from the photos on Heald's blog, the ship is stunning. I also like the report today that the Piano Bar and the Casino are going to be non-smoking!

Yeah, I wonder if the Chief Engineer lifted the main engine covers to show off the motors to his friends.

Even being a modest person, I'd have to give in to the urge to show her off. The Carnival Dream looks amazing inside and out. I laughed when John called it epic, "but not the ugly one". Nuff said, and I better shut up before I stir something up.

I pretty much knew the Piano Bar was going to be non-smoking, as the Splendor's is. The casino part took me by surprise. I expected them to make half of it non-smoking, as they have been experimenting with sections for quite some time now. I sure didn't expect them to make most of it non-smoking. I sorta doubt it sticks, and they'll end up modifying it to some degree based on past history. The times are a changing though.
