Humms. The Bus Stop bar, that's where I was sitting (no surprise) when an English man bought me a Foster's. When I left I got on the elevator right outside the casino. I'll blame it on the Foster's but that was a whacky elevator ride.

Gotta love the Holiday memories.

Not sure about the Bus Stop, I do know that the internet and piano bar areas were gutted and are now a large open area with dark paneling and leather seating.

Hello all!
I'm going Oct. 5th. It will be my 3rd cruise on the Holiday. I didn't realize they'd already started making changes to the ship. Will there be a piano bar? Sometimes, I just want to sit and listen to music. The pianist could play a lot of Jimmy Buffett tunes and for a Parrothead such as me, it was great!

luvs2sail, They were speaking (I assume) of the changes that were made to the Celebration after it left the Carnival brand. No worries, and Fins Up!

The changes to the ship wont be made until after it goes into drydock in Italy.

I was sort of surprised they only painted the funnel on the Celebration instead of modifying it some way or changing it out. The shape of the funnel is distinctly Carnival.

I'm glad there haven't been any changes. Getting around the Holiday can be challenging especially with my Dad saying one thing and my 9 year another. I usually just walk over to the map and point so everyone will realize I know where I'm going.

My fins are up and I'm ready for a change in latitude. I need a holiday on a moonlit bay and a boat drink or 2. Come join us Oct. 5th!

Hey everyone. I was just on the Holiday a couple of months ago. It wasn't my first time on a cruise ship and I wasn't impressed. The ship is not in bad shape, BUT, it did seem "dated" if that makes sense. The food was horrible as well. But everything else....the casino, the pool, the employees and other guests were great! I'd go again probably, if it weren't leaving in November.

Hi BeninAL, Welcome to Cruise-Chat.

She is what she is. I don't ever recall having horrible food on Carnival ship though. Not saying it didn't happen, just saying it hasn't happened to me yet. Was it the food in the main dining room or in the Wharf on lido deck?
