I have just returned on Saturday , 7/28, from my first cruise, 5-days out of New Orleans on the Fantasy. It was perfect. Could not have been better. My husband and I spent hours reading your chats starting July 4th and felt VERY prepared for our cruise. We especially want to thank those who gave the excursion-on-your-own advice. We enjoyed exploring Costa Maya. After taking the taxi in, we just walked through the whole town, enjoying the people and the views and got some Great pictures. In Cozumel we rented the cutest VW bug convertible and bar/beach hopped our way around the island. it was Wonderful!!! We are now like many of you and hooked on cruising. We booked a second cruise for Spring Break with my 17 year old daughter and a friend. Thanks to all you cruise experts who help us newbies.

It is a good thing that we don't live that close to the port. 5 1/2 hours away is bad enough.
