Hi,
I am going on a five night cruise in Oct. on the Celebration. There will be four of us (parents, 4 yr old and 16 yr old) in an outside room M74. Am I going to be miserable? Anyone know anything about the Celebration?
Thanks!

I have sailed on the Celebration twice. Your oceanview cabin will be 186 sq. ft, which is a fairly nice size room for 2 people, but may be a bit cramped for 4, but manageable - particularly since one is only 4. Is your 16 yr, old a boy or girl? That might make a difference as teenage girls tend to require a larger space allotment. You will definitely have to dress in shifts. You and/or your husband may want to consider using the spa/fitness center facilities for showering which seems to aid in the process.

We had M74 on our Xmas cruise last year. Two adults two tall kids 9yr old girl 11yr old boy.
The cabin had one fold down bed..good size, and the steward brought in on cot for the floor. Yes it was a little cramped, yes it got hectic in the mornings (one bathroom) and getting ready for dinner was a chalenge! One nice thing about the layout is that if tou open the Bathroom and closet door tou actually have a nice private are to get changed..small but nice.
Tips... Bring a power strip, only one outlet in thhe room, one in b/r. Invest in one of those over the door shoe organizer. One other tip you might want to invest in the soda cards for the kids $30 each but it will save on the sign and sail acct...lol Our room steward was great don't know if you'll have the same one. There were some great/friendly crew If you have any particular questions I would be happy to answer them if I can.

I read somewhere that there is no atrium on this ship. Just a big lobby. Is this true? That would be strange after sailing on the Spirit and the Majesty.

If Edward is still the bartender at the casino bar stop in and ask for the joke of the day...they get better every day! Try and find where the waiter Zubin is used to be in the Vista Dining Room. Check your first day and try to get your seating switched. Roberto was a great Drink server in the casino thats all I can think of for now
