On the old mailed documents, they had VIP Check In notated in the front window.
The new mailed documents have it buried around page 549 !!
When we were checking in at Galveston last week, (when I asked where VIP was) they said "where's the proof". I had my Fun Pass in my hand (as directed) but had to SEARCH for the page that said VIP in the Documents.
I've not had any trouble in the past. I show them my blue folder documents and they escort me to the VIP check-in. I'm thinking they are going to do away with mailed documents. In either case this is good news for VIP's

The OLD mailed documents have the Please proceed to check in on the Front page...in the square by your name that can easily be seen.
These NEW mailed documents don't have that any more. They are really cheap looking and bury the VIP info on page 479332 ! LOL
My PVP said that the "memo" had come out to start telling all customers that :soon: it would be EDocs only.

All of my old mailed documents since becoming Platinum say..."Proceed to Carnival's VIP check-in". So this will now be on the FunPass?
Thanks, LHP. I should be getting my mailed docs this week. I got a note saying that it will be edocs only in the not too distant future too.
I will miss the mailed docs, I save all of mine. I better go fill out my FunPass now. Or it will say "incomplete" on the docs. This is one cruise I have been waiting on for so long, and now it has sneaked up on me.

I, too, will miss getting my little blue binder in the mail. Although the new binders are really cheap looking compared to the old ones.
I always made travel notes in them (since we keep them as well) names of all the folks who were serving on the ship at the time.
And travel notes of interesting things that happened on this cruise.
Oh well, I guess all good things eventually come to an end.
