Wondering on what a general average final Sign-n-Sail bill? 7 day cruise. Will be drinking daily (not excessively just merely a bucket of beer or so and then 3 or 4 foo foo drinks a day and a bottle of wine with dinner) along with two teenage daughters and their soda pop fix's. What were some of your final tabs?
Okay, it was really on $3,703...but that included 4 photos of me n' the family.
Okay, okay....I'll be helpful.....my final bill was (drum roll please)........................................... ..................
.................................................. .............................$834.78....but that included 4 photos of the family 'n me, and about $250 in duty free stuff.
As you originally put it, I see somewhere between $ 300 and $ 600. A Mimosa or Bloody Mary at breakfast sounds so right and then it is pretty hard to resist a pina colada on the pool deck when you are soaking up Caribbean sunshine at 10:00 am.
You really need that bucket of beer in the afternoon to "re-hydrate". Wine to food is like salt and pepper, gotta have it. A nice cocktail or whiskey straight up makes for a nice evening.
For us it is usually around the $900 to $1100 range for a 7-day, depending on if we booked any tours. Bear in mind this also includes the automatic tips.
My average is just a little higher than Dave's but I don't try very hard to budget on vacation. I'm there to have a good time and it costs some dough to do that. My wife is a shopper and I like blackjack even if it doesn't like me very well.
Well, I would put it at least in the $1000.00 range to be realistic. Believe me, those "foo foo" drinks add up in a hurry. Then you add automatic gratuities, cash gratuities, a couple of family photos, those coca cola cards, and the random bingo cards. It's surprising how quickly one of these vessels pays for itself.
We pay for shore excursions and tips before we leave. Don't drink, don't buy stuff on the ship... final tab of last 3 cruises have all been 0. Might be better on the Zaandam.
