I do know that October 11th on the Glory is going to have a Goth Group onboard....

perhaps all you can drink would be helpful in that instance??

That is reason enough to avoid that cruise.

It is my understanding the open bar cards are for large groups of 100 or more. Usually an incentive group.

I am not a drinker but I do wonder if the "all inclusive" alcohol card has limits. I would think, but i am not sure, that an all you can drink alcohol card might bring unwanted liability to the ship. I am afraid that maybe it is not what it seems.
I also read where the bartenders are suppose to cut off an intoxicated guest. I wonder if they would cut you off after one or two drinks in the "all inclusive" alcohol card even if you are not intoxicated, to limit the use of the card .All they would have to say is you have had too much. Just wondering

macmom111,

I don't know if there's a limit. Personally I don't drink alcohol at all so what I really like is what more and more operators of riverboats in Europe offer: "all inclusive" with soft drinks, juices, wine and beer included in the fare. Everything else (with the obvious exceptions such as water, coffee, tee etc.) is extra.

Thanks, Raoul. I have never seen one of the cards either. I had heard about the program, because this topic came up last March in another thread.

Cruise Fanatic, I don't recall the group size minimum though. I do remember about everyone in the group having to buy in as LHP noted.

I hope the Goth group and the Open Bar group don't mess the ship up. I'm booked on the following cruise.

Dwayne
