Is there anybody that can give me a brief update on cruising on the carnival splendor. My cruise is in 76 days aboard this new vessel.

I've only been on 23 cruises. 152 days total, I think. We have members with many, many more. However I read and study a lot about cruising and ships, and being a fifty-something retiree I have the luxury of time to sit here and be an almost live-time answer man. Being a skilled internet researcher (aka google master) helps.

We will be cruising her on the Nov 17th. Then we get off the Splendor...spend the night and get on the Freedom for the 8 day down to Panama.

I can tell you that Gregg G. (I can't think of how to spell his last name) will be the piano bar entertainer. He was a Canadian Idol finalist. Although he is new to Carnival...we have heard great things.

There is a cruiser called zydecocruiser that also has a great website with his B2B2B on the Splendor in Europe. (I think I got that right...it may have just been a B2B...but I think he put 3 together.)

WOW dave 23 cruises!!! I can only hope to get there where you are one day. This will only be my 6th cruise.
