MY CABIN AIR DID NOT WORK PROPERLY. CAN I GET A PARTIAL REFUND. HAD TO USE FAN THE WHOLE TRIP TO KEEP FROM PASSING OUT. NOW THAT JUST WASN'T A FUN THING TO HAVE TO DO ON VACATION. DID ANYONE ELSE HAVE PROBLEMS ON THE CARNIVAL DESTINY CRUISE OUT OF SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO ON JULY 17, 2005? DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS WITH THE AIR. ONE SIDE OF THE SHIP WAS COLD AS ALASKA AND THE OTHER SIDE (my side) WAS HOT AS HELL. AT LEAST THAT IS WHAT THE CABINS ON EACH SIDE OF ME SAID. THEY SAID THEIR AIR WAS NOT WORKING EITHER. I WAS NOT A HAPPY CAMPER.

Welcome to Cruise-Chat cruisin grandmaw. I am sorry to hear of the problems you had with your air on the ship. Did you report it to the Pursers desk? or to your cabin steward?. If you did and nothing was done about it, then the first thing I would do would call your travel agent and let them know about it. After this I would call Carnival direct to the Customer Service Dept. @ 1.800.929.6400. Make sure you have your Carnival booking #, cabin number and date of your cruise.

Hope this helps and good luck on getting some kind of credit towards your next cruise.

Hey. I am happy to say that I called Carnival and they are giving me a sizeable credit to use on my next cruise for the air not working on our cruise. They are also giving me 15% off on my next cruise. Thanks Carnival. You REALY DO care about your customers.

I cruised with my cousin on the Celebration a few years back, and she tripped and hurt her ankle. Ship's Doc and staff were wonderful and Carnival kept her in drink vouchers for the entire trip---I saw a great deal of irony in drinks and tripping---but oh, well, it was a win-win for all I suppose.
