My wife's brother and his wife just returned from their first cruise - a 5-day on the Fantasy - and they are now addicted. They previously would make the journey to the Gulf coast for beach time every year, but as they told me yesterday "cruising has the beach beat!" They are already looking for another cruise!

My subtle pressure over the years finally worked.

Dave, I would happily take a 4-5 day cruise over sitting on a beach any day of the week. Why were they hesitant to try cruising?

Just fear of trying something new I guess. But that appears to be over now.

If I don't do at least 2 cruise a year..I'm crabby for the rest of the year...Just ask my wife....Ok, I'm crabby all year anyway..but cruising sure does help....

Better to be crabby on a ship then crabby at home!

I can't imagine too many people thinking the beach is better than a cruise (unless they have a serious case of sea sickness)

So glad you shared your love of cruising with them.

Cruising is one habit that should be spread!!

I am "crabby" sometimes at home. I think it comes from work. I like to eat crabs as well. I have never had any other type crab issues

It does have a mood altering affect in a great way. Have actually heard "you act like a different person" on the cruise

Congrats Dave on another conversion!
