A bargain for those able to travel March 15

For those of you who live near the west coast, and who are free to make last minute plans, we just booked the Spirit from San Diego 3/15 sailing very, very inexpensively. Yesterday we paid $408.00 per person, inside guarantee, (and OV was just $100 more) including all taxes and port for this 8 night cruise. Today I noticed that it went up $50 per person, but is still quite a bargain.

Well.. isn't that special. I paid 1900 for three of us on that same cruise. I booked a month or so ago. I too booked the inside guarantee, when I got my documents the room was a oceanview 6a I think. I guess I could have saved some money if I had waited, bummer

Wow! If i didn't already have tickets to a concert on the 22nd, I would most definitely take advantage of this offer!

Wienergirls, that is really a bummer that you paid so much more. However, an upgrade to an outside cabin is a real plus. I think I have read that people have occasionally been able to get the cruise line to compensate, even after final payment, when the price drops, with an onboard credit. Why don't you give it a try?

Definitely worth a try. A friend of mine booked on the Liberty for end of April saw a better deal posted at www.carnival.com and called her PVP, actually got a refund credited to her credit card of $100
