Will cruise prices during the most expensive 2 weeks of December drop at last minute? Those 2 weeks are understandably the most expensive because it is the holiday vacation time for schools, kids and families...just wondering if I can hope that prices might drop...http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...icon_smile.gif

Probably not.

Not only will most not drop, (there may be a couple they can't sell that drop but don't count on it) they will probably sell out long before you'll get the chance to find out. Peak season and certainly popular cruising holidays don't work like the cruises you see the bottom drop out on pricing at the last minute. If you want best pricing go in very late Aug. through early Dec. excluding Thanksgiving break time. If you want a Christmas and New Years sailing be prepared to pay double or more what you'd see the same cruise sell for other times. And be prepared for cabin availability to be gone in the next few weeks, there's not much now.

Cheers, Neil

Yeah, those often sell out.
