Just to add...they take wonderful portraits on formal night and that is worth you wearing a beautiful gown and your husband a nice suit, isn't it?

We found that most women wear the little black dress, but some opted for bright floral prints and wonderful bursts of color. We tended to prefer seeing the women in the florals and bright colors, but that is beside the point. The men mostly wore black pants and jackets with ties and white shirts. However, we found that we preferred the men who wore the black pants and a medium and dark shirts with ties to be the best looking. We also saw just as many men with with medium and dark kahkis with colored shirts and ties who looked just as great as anyone else. We have decided that since they take great photographs on formal night with loads of backgrounds to choose from, that we will be wearing black pants with dark colored shirts and ties from now on to formal night. Most men did not wear jackets, but it was nice seeing everyone dressed up and looking prettiful.
