Hi mac91360, welcome to Cruise-Chat! I have a feeling you will not want to leave the ship at the end of your cruise

I know it's hard to leave them, we have 5 mutts. We get a pet sitter for them, but they're still really happy to see us return. I do miss them, however, it seems like my mind is too busy on board to think about them that much. I do think about them, but I am very distracted by all the fun I'm having.

After we had that tour we could not eat that melting cake. It is very good but all of that butter, eggs yolks, and sugar was just too much. There has to be at least 1000 plus calories in it and a major artery clogger. I am glad that we found out what was in it.

You may be right my friend. However, none of us will live forever, so live while you're here.

Moderation is the key. Having an occasional Big Mac or Chocolate Melting Cake isn't going to kill you. Doing it frequently isn't a good idea. I don't go on cruises to fret about calories, fat, or cholesterol.

I always find I am more active on the ship and with doing port activities than I am at home. Walking and snorkeling apparently burns a lot of calories as I always weigh about the same after and I eat the cake.

Dwayne, I do the same, too. I rarely gain any weight and I'll be danged if I'm not going to enjoy food I don't normally eat.

Dave, you're spot on, we're not promised tomorrow, so I try to enjoy each and every moment I am above ground.
