GOT TICKETS!!! Question Conquest

Just got our tickets - Yay only 23 days to go.
We are in cabin 6325 on Upper deck of the Conquest. it is an inside anyone know waht the sound might be like. Looks like we are above the casion and wondered if that might be noisy.

Are you going to be sailing out on Dec 17th? If so I will be on the ship with you! We are on the same deck I think. We have an extended balcony room. If you go to the carnival website and look at the ship layouts you can see where you are going to be and see whats on the floor under and on top of you. We are above a dining room I think so we should be good.

Nope we are sailing on the 10th. I do know we seem to be above the Casino and was wondering how noisy that might be.
We were below a dining room on the Paradise and we heard lots of cutlery and chair scrapings first thing in the morning which was kind of annoying.

I have been above a casino and the only noise I noticed was a very faint ding ding of a slot machine.

You will be leaving the day we return home on the Conquest. I might have to leave behind a surprise on the ship for ya and leave some clues as to where to find it. Will you have internet access while onboard?

Not sure if we will have access I guess if we go to the internet cafe - any idea of the cost?
That would be cool to go on a treasure hunt. providing the cleaning staff etc don't remove it.

No, I don't know how much internet access is but I can possibly find out

Internet is $55.00 for 100 minutes. They also have a larger package something like 200 minutes for $100.00. You can also get 10 minutes of bonus usage if you sign up at certain times.

We always go by the Internet and register for the free time they give away on every cruise.

Do that as soon as you get onboard...and you might win some freebies!!

I don't think you will hear much noise. The ships have spaces in between the decks for electrical and plumbing.

I am up for a treasure hunt and My hubby is too he already has thoughts of hiding something for the next cruise after us. Have to be small and nothing too scary. Everyone now a days is so freaked - and obviously with good reason after 9/11.
Last thing we need is to creat a perceived threat.
