Skeet Shooting on the Legend?

I haven't been on a cruise in 20 years and I wondered if this was still an option on the cruise ships. Since 9-11 I doubt it but just wanted to ask.

BTW, I love (am adicted to this site! Great advice and information. My hubby and I will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary on the Legend July 1st western Caribbean. Anyone else going then?

No guns on the ship with major cruiselines. Congrats on your 25th, just celebrated mine as well.

As you mentioned there are a lot of folks here that are very friendly and helpful. I've also enjoyed my limited time here as well.

I miss skeet shooting. I was never a participant, but I enjoyed being a spectator.

Which ship were you last on?

Last time I saw skeet shooting was on the SS Emerald Seas in 1987. I think it was more for safety and environmental reasons they stopped it.

I saw it on the SeaBreeze in 2000 on a two-night cruise to nowhere. I was surprised, as I had also heard about the safety and environmental impact. Maybe they were biodegradeable skeets?

It had been at least 7 to 8 years prior to that when I had last seen them. It was a smaller ship then, too.

The last cruise we took was in the late 1980's but I don't remember the exact year. It was on the Carnival Extacy.
I booked a obstructed ocean view french doors this time (guarentee). Does the french doors open in this case?

They're behind the lifeboats and for natural light and decorative purposes ony. The only cabins that have functional doors are in the balcony/suite cabins.
