We just booked on this...he 59, she 53...just the 2 of us. His son is housesitting with our 2 Cocker Spaniels. Excited to try Carnival for the 1st time.

Welcome! I don't know if I can post this, but go to www.cruisecritic.com and sign up. Select Carnival message boards, then go to the bottom to the Forum Jump drop-down arrow and look for Roll Call, Carnival Legend. We have a 6-page thread going with a bunch of people (from CT, NJ, PA, MA, VA, IL).

I'm not sailing on this cruise, but thought I would tell you that this ship is beautiful!! Very well run, and CLEAN!! Food was great, service was fantastic, all crew always smiling. Julia is the best cabin steward in life. "Mr. D" and McAllister were the waiters of a lifetime. Wonderful. And the Supper Club, do not miss it. Worth every dime!!! There is not one bad thing about this ship. Very easy to get around and navigate. I posted some pics of the Legend under "Billy cruise album" Enjoy. Have a wonderful time!!

Thanks Billy. I've been on the Victory and liked it a lot. Also loved RC's Explorer of the Seas and the Disney Wonder.

My favorite ship is whatever I'm currently sailing on!

From the photos, it does look a bit dark.
