Carnival Pride 4-night Mexican Cruise

My wife and I are honeymooning on this 4 night cruise. It will be her first time on a cruise ship and I convinced her to the short, 4 nighter to see if she will be okay with future, longer cruises. Anyway, anyone been on this one? Sounds like a good one for someone who has never cruised before. Any input on the ship would be appreciated as well.

Guess I should have added that we are booked on the March 12-16 sailing.

Are you sure your on the Carnival Pride? It normally does 7 day cruises.

Sure its not the Paradise? We went on the 4 day late Feb last year. First day you wake up they are tendering off the ship to Catalina where you can do some fun stuff then the next day is Ensenada and the third day is out to sea. Nice cruise...taken it many times. Very romantic. A hint for you in that you could buy her a gift and surprise her at sunset on deck with a bottle of Champaigne and two glasses where you watch the sun set together. My husband did that giving me a beautiful swarovski heart necklace he bought in the gift shop and when putting it on me told me he loved me still after 20 years. An evening I will cherish forever.
