Got our documents in today for our first cruise!! Been dancing all day I must admit I was a little apprehensive when my honey told me we were gonna book a cruise. Nothingthat i have truly wanted to do has everworked out for me in my life. Anyway, we booked the cruise with our deposit, paid it off, 1st good sign was both vacation requests from work were approved 2nd good sign was finding a scratch-off lottery ticket when cleaning out the car that I had missed a number on that won us $500.00! 3rd sign, docs came in early!! I just know now that this is meant to be, and I can't wait!!

Hey bubbles....glad you are so excited. Wife and I just got back from our first cruise celebrating our 50th birthdays and 30th anniversary, and we had a blast! Wish we had done this earlier, but I was afraid I wouldn't enjoy it. Boy was I so wrong. We are ready to book another one! Glad your God is planning things for you to work out..give Him the credit!

Keep Dancing Bubbles!!

Its always fun to find those docs in the mailbox. And 35 days before the cruise isn't "early" its about average fro Carnival.

Now the planning and packing gets serious! Hope you have a great time on your first cruise so that you become hooked and addicted like the rest of us.

Jim

I don't think I can do much more planning on this trip! I have been planning it since Feb. when we put down the deposit. I have a checklist of things to get just for the trip, a checklist of things to do, (stop the paper, mail, housewatch, etc.), I have a checklist of where to pack what, I have a checklist of last minute things to check before leaving home (thermostat set, lighting, everything's unplugged, etc), and all that's left now is to basically pack it up and go! Called today for the flight confirmation numbers and got them, and the seating assignments both going and coming back, bag limitations for the airlines. Is it June yet?

Wow.. you got it bad! Just watch out for the port debarkation depression.

You will have a great time because you already have the right attitude.

I do have it bad, I have wanted to do this ever since I was younger than my daughter, and she is 14. This time next month, that life-long daydream is gonna come a reality
