I don't think so. If you first buy a foutain drink card then you get fountain drinks for free, but the card is pricy. you need to drink a lot of soda to have it a good payoff. Coke on board will be like $1.72 for a can so think it over. may work for you
They do not give you a can. They pour the can into a small glass. If you drink more than 3 glasses a day it will be worth the card. It cost about $5.50 a day times the number of days you will be gone. You can use the card at any bar.

It has been a few years since that last happened! Sorry, but all sodas will cost you - either by the can/bottle or by getting the Fountain Fun Card (soda card).
To put a date on it, I believe our 1995 cruise was the last time I remember soda being included....
I really think the cruise lines went overboard on the cost of sod though. I can understand having to charge for it to keep people from wasting it, but a 1.72 for a small glass of soda is a joke when for a $1 or $1.25 you can get a 20 oz bottle out of a vending machine in the states.

I for one would have no problem if they bumped the cruise fares up a few bucks and started having the soda fountains included in the cruise again. Of all things on a cruise that annoy people, I think the soda thing is the biggest gripe.
You don't pay $1.72 for a small glass of soda. If you don't have the fountain card then you pay $1.72 for a 12oz can. That $1.72 includes the tip. With the fountain card on the Fantasy they were pouring cans into a larger glass. It may have held 10Oz. of the 12ounze can.
Question, if you buy a fountain card do you need to worry about the tip?? I assume when you go to the bar or elsewhere and buy an alcoholic bev. you have the tip added to your s&S card right, when you buy a beverage same thing right? Now with the soda card is it safe to say you don't need to carry around cash to give as a tip each time you buy a soda?
