on the ccl website, why is it that if i use my booking number to log in the list of shore excursions is shorter, than if i just went to the ccl website and clicked on excursions. When you look at them that way, the list is much longer, if i log in , the list is shorter. Why is that?

Because once you log in it is giving you the shore excursions that are for the intinerary you are sailing.

well before logging in, i clicked on destination, and port of call, it gave me miami's shore excursions, then i clicked on the various ports we would be stopping in, and the list is still longer that way, than the list once i log in with the same ports. That's what I don't get.

I was just told that the reason the list is shorter is because they have not yet posted all of the shore excursions that will be available for that particular cruise. Mind you, my cruise isn't until August so if yours is a lot earlier, you might call Carnival and ask why.

bubbles,

As noted by others, when you enter your booking number the tour list is fine tuned to your specific cruise. Why do you see more tours for X port if you check on it without using your booking number? Because not every tour is available to every ship calling on X port. This may have to do with the time your ship will be in X port. It may have to do with limits on certain tours because of capacity (too many ships, not enough tour slots). These are just two examples of why you see fewer tours for your cruise as opposed to a generic search for X port.
